Mobile Suit Gundam (1979)

In the year Universal Century 0079, the Earth Federation finds itself at war with the newly independent space colony, the "Principality of Zeon". When the colony of Side 7 comes under attack by the Principality of Zeon, a citizen by the name of Amuro Ray finds himself in the midst of the conflict, piloting the prototype mobile suit Gundam.
