Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011)

Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki are both regular middle schoolers living a normal life - until they crossed paths with Kyuubey, a cat-like magical being, and Homura Akemi, the new transfer student.

Kyuubey offers them that he will grant at least one of their wishes; but they must become a magical girl after to gain enough power to achieve whatever dream they have.
