When Yunyun receives a mysterious letter pertaining to a possible disaster coming to her hometown, she notifies Kazuma Satou as soon as possible, including the rest of his people. After a long period of misunderstandings, they soon found out it was only a prank from a fellow demon who wishes to be a writer. Although it was proven to be a joke, Megumin turns anxious about her family and the whole village.

Kazuma and the rest of the gang decide to visit and see Megumin's birthplace. Perhaps the nonsense message they received wasn't a mere joke after all.
