Pinocchio (1940)

Before going to bed, Geppetto wishes for his wooden marionette, Pinocchio, to be a real boy. As Geppetto was fast asleep, a blue fairy visits his place and brings Pinocchio to life, although he still looks like a puppet. She tells Pinocchio that if he proves himself to be honest, brave, and selfless, he will become a real boy someday.
