Merida is an impulsive yet fearless daughter of Scottish King Fergus and Queen Elinor. She's known for her great knowledge and skills in archery, who wants to create her own destiny, according to how she wanted it. Her opposition towards the common tradition in their kingdom causes chaos to arise. Merida asks help from a witch, who ends up granting her ill-fated wish. Now, it's up to Merida to discover the true meaning of bravery and stop the hideous curse from happening before it's too late.

Different from other princesses, I can say Merida is one of my favorites, too! I kind of relate with her personality, so that must be one of the reasons why I like her. I just love the overall plot of this movie and the adventures that come along with it.
