Man on Wire (2008)
#15 in Documentaries (Watchables)
In 1974, Philippe Petit, a high-wire artist, made everyone hold their breaths as he walked on a wire between the towers of World Trade Center. He balances himself for over 1,000 feet in the air (without any harness or protective items to hold him), he managed to pass eight times between skyscrapers for about 45 minutes before the NYPD arrested him.
Man on Wire also features video footages of Petit's training, his jaw-dropping performances, and how he sets up the wires for his stages.
