Shirkers (2018)

During the year 1992, a teenager named Sandi Tan shoots Singapore's first ever road movie with her American mentor, Georges, who then ran away with all of the footage. The 16 mm film was recovered 20 years later, to which resulted to Tan, who is now a novelist living in Los Angeles, on a personal odyssey to search for Georges' footprints.
