21st Century Boys (2006)

As the conflict that emerged between Kenji Endo, his friends, and cult leader "Friend" comes to an end, there are still two remaining mysteries for them to figure out: Friend's true identity and if the threat of an anti-photon bomb is actually true. Kenji, together with the United Nations, agrees to use a virtual reality program developed from Friend's childhood memories in this end to a long adventure that will last for dozens of decades.
