It's time for Harry's third year at Hogwarts, and everybody's looking forward to it: Harry spent half the summer in Diagon Alley, Ron got to go to Egypt, Hermione got a new cat, and everyone's talking about finally visiting Hogsmeade this year!  Okay, Harry might not be able to go, because Uncle Vernon refused to sign the permission slip, but at least the Defense the Dark Arts teacher is finally competent, and seems to have taken a liking to Harry!  However, something evil seems to be lurking on the horizon -- dementors, deathly omens, and an escaped dark wizard who seems to be making a beeline for Harry -- what trouble is going to find Harry, and will he be able to survive another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?
