Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)

The film follows the story of Harry Potter, a young boy who learns during his 11th birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses magical powers of his own. He is summoned from his ordinary life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school exclusively for wizards. While there, he meets several friends who ended up becoming his closest allies and help him find the truth behind his parents' mysterious deaths.
