The story centers on a criminal prodigy who seeks the help of five other outcasts, each possessing a unique ability, to pull of the heist that one could never forget.

A classic high fantasy story: young Garion was raised on a farm by his Aunt Pol, and had nothing more planned for his life than to work hard and live happily. One day, however, a mysterious storyteller whisks him and Aunt Pol away on an adventure, during which time Garion will learn more about the people and countries of the world, help unravel sinister plots, and maybe even find out more about who he is and what he is meant to do.
