In this Privacy Policy, “Service(s)” and “Site” will refer to www.hobbelisk.com and other related sites/services operated by Hobbelisk Inc. “Information” will refer to personal information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. “You” and “Your” will refer to the User, entity, or person who is accessing or uses our Services in any manner. “We”, “Our”, and “Us” will refer to Hobbelisk Inc. “Contributions” will refer to content you add or change on the Service. What kind of Information we collect and use

  • Login information: We store your login data to be able to recognize you when you login.
  • Profile information: Information you want to share to the public about yourself can be posted on your profile page. This information will be stored on our servers and be visible to anyone who visits your profile.
  • User content: Information you want to share to the public about a variety of topics may also be posted on relevant pages on our site. Any information posted will also be stored on our servers and be visible to anyone who visits the page in which your information is posted.

  • Strategic business partners when offering you products you may be interested in or other joint market activities.
  • Where required by law or under good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to conform to applicable law, subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes in order to defend against legal claims and protect the property and interests of Hobbelisk Inc., personal safety, or the public. Do note that Hobbelisk Inc. reserves the right to not provide notice when prohibited from doing so by law, court order, or other legal processes.
  • Third Party Applications you use that make use of our APIs.
  • Other Third Party Applications where we have obtained your consent or you have requested us to do so.
  • Advertising, marketing, and analytics vendors. Note that any information you post on the site is publicly available and can be collected by third parties. Hobbelisk Inc is not responsible for the information you choose to submit.

Information Storage

Our servers are located within the United States and Canada, as such, information we collect from you will be subjected to U.S. law and Canadian law. By using this site, you understand and agree your information will be stored and processed outside of Europe. We do not keep information longer than is necessary for legal or legitimate business purposes. Although we use reasonable measures to protect the information of our users, information that is collected by third parties may not have the same security protections. As such, we are not responsible for the security of the information collected by the third parties.

South Korea Residents

In accordance to the act on Consumer Protection in Electronic commerce:

  • Records on direct communications with us with regards to complaints and requests will be destroyed within 3 years.
  • Records on advertisements and labels will be destroyed within 6 months. In accordance with the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, records of your site visits and browsing habits will be destroyed within 3 months.

Information that is destroyed will be done so in a manner that it is unrestorable.

Your Choices

Cookies

We will use cookies for the purposes of remembering site preferences such as language settings. We may use similar technologies such as web beacons or tracking URLS to obtain log data. Account Deletion

Since these advertisements are from third parties, Hobbelisk Inc. does not control what information is collected through these advertisements. “Do-Not-Track” Signals

Although some browsers transmit “do-not-track” signals, there is currently no standard for these signals. As such, the site will not respond to these signals.

Your rights regarding your information

To give you full control over your information, the site allows you to access, modify, and receive copies of information you provide in a machine readable format. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity for the purpose of security before disclosing requested data.

Children

The site does not permit children to register without verifiable parental consent. Children may access the site only if we have obtained verifiable parental consent from their parent or legal guardian.

Brazil Residents

You can email us at support@hobbelisk.com to receive a copy of your information, correct your information, request removal of your information, request us to send your data to a third party, withdraw consent concerning the collection and usage of your data, request information regarding who we have shared your data with, and receive confirmation on if we have used your data. For such emails, please title the email “Brazil Data Request” and describe which of these requests you are making in the body of the email. We will follow through with the requests we receive in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law and any other applicable laws. Do note that we may reject your request when it is required by legal obligations or is required for us to protect our legal interests in the case of a legal dispute. When this occurs, we will respond to you with the reason that we have rejected your request. When receiving your email request, we may ask to verify your identity by requesting specific information or documents. All information received from you this way will be used for the express purpose of verifying your identity and responding to your request.

Turkey Residents

You can email us at support@hobbelisk.com to receive information on any processing we have done on your personal information such as what was processed and what was the purpose of the processing. You may also email us to learn of which third parties we have disclosed your personal information to, correct your personal information, request deletion of your personal information, request for us to alert third parties with whom we have disclosed your data to about any changes to your data such as corrections and deletions, object to any negative results about you as a result of processing your data, and claim for damages due to illegal processing of your data. For such emails, please title the email “Turkey Data Request’ and describe which of these requests you are making in the body of the email. We will follow through with the requests we receive in accordance with Article 11 of the Data Protection Law and any other applicable laws. When receiving your email request, we may ask to verify your identity by requesting specific information or documents. Any such request we receive will be responded to within 30 days free of charge. If your request results in additional financial costs, you may be charged the tariff fee as determined by the Turkish Personal Data protection Board.

Security

We have implemented reasonable security measures to protect your information such as offering HTTPS secure access to the site and limiting the access to personal information within the company on a need-to-know basis.. However, no security is absolute. As such, we do not guarantee the security of any information we receive from you. In the case of a security breach, we will notify all affected users of the breach and which of their data may be affected.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy at any time and the most recent update time will be stated at the top of the Privacy Policy. When the policy is updated, we will notify you via the email you have provided us. We will seek consent from you before using your information in any new manner you have not yet consented to. Your continued use of the services after any changes to this policy represents your consent to the new Policy. UAE Residents

For disputes with a claim within the limits specified by the DIFC Small Claims Tribunal, the dispute may be referred by either party to said Tribunal.

Otherwise, disputes will be settled by mediation in accordance with the Mediation Rules of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre. Disputes that remain unresolved by mediation for 30 days (or longer period as agreed in writing) will be referred to and resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre. The language used for mediation and arbitration shall be English. Any arbitration done in accordance with this clause will have the arbitration done by a single arbitrator in Dubai.
